Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

ABC-IO is an AI Interfacing and Creative Communications Company, a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Christopher Porreca, located in Rochester, NY 14623. Contact: cporreca@abc-io.com or support@abc-io.com. Human intervention hours: 8am-8pm EST.

2. What Data We Collect

Account Data: Name, email address, password hash, subscription tier, payment method (tokenized via Stripe).

Chat Data: Messages sent to AI, timestamps, model used, message count (retention varies by tier).

Beacon Data: Optional location, alert content, timestamps (public by design).

Usage Data: Page views, feature usage, device type, browser, IP address (anonymized where possible).

Billing Data: Subscription status, invoice history, payment receipts (stored by Stripe, not on our servers).

We do NOT collect: Social Security Numbers, biometric data, race, religion, political opinions, or health data.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide AI chat services and respond to your messages
• To process billing and subscriptions via Stripe
• To maintain system security and detect abuse
• To improve service quality (aggregated, anonymized)
• To send service notifications (not marketing unless you opt in)
• To comply with legal obligations (NY State, federal law)

4. Data Encryption & Security

All data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Secrets are managed via HashiCorp Vault. API keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Backups are encrypted with AES-256-CBC. We never store plaintext passwords or credit card numbers.

5. Data Retention

Free Tier: 30 days.
Personal Tier: 1 year.
Business Tier: 3 years.
Organization Tier: 7 years.

You can request deletion at any time via the Data Matrix. Deletion is completed within 30 days per NY General Business Law.

6. Your Rights (GDPR-Ready + NY Law)

• Right to Access: View all data we hold about you via Data Matrix
• Right to Rectification: Edit your profile and preferences
• Right to Erasure: Delete your account and all data
• Right to Portability: Export data as JSON or CSV
• Right to Restrict Processing: Toggle consent per feature
• Right to Object: Opt out of analytics and marketing
• Right to Notification: We notify within 72 hours of any breach

7. Third Parties

We use Stripe for payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant). We use Kimi API for AI responses (data transmitted encrypted). We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. No third-party analytics (Google Analytics, etc.) are used.

8. Children's Privacy

ABC-IO is family-safe but not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact cporreca@abc-io.com immediately for deletion.

9. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes via email and on-site notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Last updated: June 8, 2025.
